Hi. I am enjoying this learning process about the raw lifestyle! Anyhow, my question is :
Does anyone use the green powders (eg. wheatgrass, barley grass) or the whole food powder supplements (like "Perfect Food" by Garden of Life, or Living Fuel Rx Super Greens, or any of the other brands)? I have no idea if this stuff is raw, but it seems to be a good alternative to taking a multi-vitamin, where it's NOT whole food.

Thanks,
Metta

Many people argue that fresh wheatgrass juice is more powerful than any supplement, no matter how well formulated or prepared. I am, as yet, undecided about this. You will have to try a good supplement and wheatgrass juice yourself, and make your own judgement.

Hi Metta -

I was using Garden of Life Perfect Food for a while and am currently taking a break. I wrote to them about their product and received the following response -

"Thank you for your email and interest in Garden of Life's products.
Perfect Food is sprayed dried at temperatures above 110 degrees for a
few seconds and rapidly dropped to temperatures below 100 degrees. The
whole foods found in Perfect Food(r) provide vitamins and minerals as
nature intended, but it goes beyond just that. Perfect Food(r) also
delivers naturally occurring co-factors and synergistic compounds by
utilizing concentrates and juices instead of extracts and isolates."

Hope this helps.
