I thought this would be interesting.

What foods did you like on SAD and tried again (slipped) after going raw and didn't like?

What raw foods did you NOT like on SAD, but have grown to like or even love?

What raw foods do you just not like!?

For me, I used to love brown rice and steamed veggies (any steamed veggie), but after I went raw they just taste bland and boring to me.

Not sure if I qualify for the 2nd question, but I have tried new raw things since going raw. I've also gotten brave enough to do green juice.

Raw foods I don't like are: mango, papaya, star fruit, some odd random fruits and veggies, bananas, and hmm...nuts, seeds (not like I can have them anyway lol).

Great questions. I've never thought about it before...

I think the taste of bread & pasta changed for me.
Bread and pasta is inedible to me now. I also can't stand the taste of margarine. I used to love margarine!! Now it tasts like plastic.

I dont remember hating any raw foods while I was SAD- but I think my taste for bitter foods has developed a lot.
I crave greens now.

After my 30 day challenge, I felt I "deserved" to eat some pizza. Bought a slice from my favorite place. As soon as I took a bite it was so salty and had the consistency of rubber! Then I tried to convince myself it was the crust I loved and took a bite of the crust, which was like cardboard!! I threw it out and went home to make a raw pizza that was heavenly.

Been trying more recipes and foods and have been enjoying the adventure. I also love greens. Really like green lemonade.

Not sure there are any raw foods I really don't like but tried Durian and it wasn't so good that it is worth the price :D

Raw Blessings,
Julie

I thought I would like a Julius Ceaser smoothie.... YUCK! It was WAYYY too sweet.

I used to hate vegetables period, Ive learned to love them! I can't even think of one I dont like besides Iceberg lettuce and pineapple.

Im not much of a mango or orange eater (Though I loved them on SAD, I wouldn't nessecarily say I DISLIKE them, they just dont really appeal to me) and Iceberg Lettuce.

I don't think my taste buds have changed. I don't like most fruits. It would be easier for me to list the ones I like than the ones I don't like because that list would be too long.

I can eat a small amount of cabbage, cauliflower or broccoli raw. I can eat a small amount of cooked cabbage in something like a soup. I can't eat anything at all that has cooked cauliflower or broccoli in it. Not even a tiny speck of the stuff. They just taste vile to me when cooked.

I was never very fond of cooked corn. I could eat it in something like soup. But as standalone vegetable, I didn't want more than a bite or two. I LOVE raw corn! I never would have thought to try it raw had I not read about it here.

Green beans I actually prefer cooked to a mushy death unless they are Haricot Verts. Those are good raw. Otherwise I can only eat maybe 2-3 raw beans. They're just too starchy tasting otherwise.

Don't care for raw potatoes, although I've not tried them in the dehydrator. My mom and daughter both love raw potatoes and will eat them out of hand with a sprinkling of salt.

Avocados are something I find to be totally vile and I can't bring myself to eat anything that contains it.

Mushrooms are something I don't particularly care for, although I can eat them if they are in something. I could never just eat a whole mushroom, stuffed or otherwise. There's just something weird about their texture.

So far the only thing I've made in the dehydrator is raisins. I learned that straight from the dehydrator the centers are warm, kind of fudgey and so disgustingly sweet I will never eat another one. That was a BIG mistake! My daughter couldn't eat them either. After putting them in the refrigerator for a couple of days, they tasted more like the kind you buy in the store.

Toast.
I still like the smell but the one time that I ate it I was so dissapointed.
Toast and marmalade was my favourite dessert and my favourite late night snack in the old days.
