Hi :D

Can all nuts sold still in their shells be assumed to be raw? I'm thinking with the likes of almonds, brazils, pecans etc still in their shells, why would they need to of been heated at all? I've found a site selling them, strangely (ok maybe not) its a parrot website selling parrot/bird food and sell loads of variety of nuts (with there shells ON) and quite cheap prices. Could these possibly be raw, if the shells are intact...?

Thanks for ANY help!!

Nope, you can find unshelled/unhulled roasted nuts and seeds too. However, the nuts they're selling for parrots are probably raw. Contact the company... they should be more than willing to tell you.

That's what I was thinking, ones sold for parrots may not be heated at all. Here's hoping...
