Will a raw food diet help prevent sagging skin during weight loss? I have about 80 pounds to take off....

from everything I have read I believe it does. Also keeping hydrated and your skin conditioned with go a long way too. I use almond milk, avocados (another use for those things you don't like,LOL) and olive and coconut oil as soap and lotion.

I'm not to sure but I have heard that same thing about keeping the skin hydrated. I lost 130 pounds and I came out pretty good. My belly is not as flat as I would like so I'm going to have a tummy tuck. But other than that I don't look bad for losing more than than half their weight.

I've already lost 50+ pounds and have no hanging skin, I imagine if I do, I'll love it like the rest of my body, but I do think that working in the garden, or exercising or walking or whatever you do to move around is a good thing for your muscles and skin.
besides, skin is highly elastic.
I keep being told how amazing raw coconut oil is wonderful, and how it will help fade stretch marks and help your skin be more elastic. I have about the same amount of weight as you to lose, and it's a significant worry to me as well.
I was reading that a pure essential oil called 'Cypress' when mixed with base oil (I'm going to use coconut oil) is supposed to be really good on helping to reduce hanging skin after losing weight.

It depends upon genetics, your age, and how many times you have lost and gained weight over the years. I think it is different for everyone.
Best to you,

I agree with Audrey. The amount of weight (amount of excess skin), how long it's been stretched out. Your health overall. Your age. Etc.

The free download only has a couple of pages available (I checked for you). To read the rest you need to buy it, so it's not something that could be shared.
Cheers,

Hi beelzebubble,
I was going to copy what was on the website to you, but when I went to your profile it said you didn't want any e-mails sent.
If you e-mail me at bargas@charter.net, I will gladly copy and send you what he has written on his website.

Has anyone bought and read the book? If so, it is good? It just seems kind of pricey for an e-book, but if it's worth it I may get it.
Thanks,
Shannon

I have lost a lot of weight and have a little skin especially under the arms that is really flab as I call it. I went from a lrg 12 to a 4/5 and weigh about 120 and did it all in about 3 months. I have some loose skin but I think excerise will take care of that and part of it is my age... 60 next month. :D

where do I find the ph book with no hanging skin? Does that have to do with body fat? Sandy

or in any larger book store.
The author is Dr Robert O. Young, argueably the foremost authority on acid/alkaline balance.
In a nutshell - 80% of what you eat should be alkaline forming foods and 20% should be acid forming.
When wood is burned in a fireplace, what remains is an ash. When a food is burned in the body there is also an ash that remains. This ash is either acid, alkaline or neutral.
Our bodies are alkaline by design (by nature).
