I finally just got in my fuse for my excalibur today - does anyone have a good tortilla chip that i can use - I am craving chips to eat with my guacamole and salsa.

These aren't really "chips" -- they are little chewy tortillas. They take about 2 to 3 hours.

Just take 2 bags of frozen organic corn and put the bags in lukewarm water so they thaw a bit.

Put them in the food processor with 1/2 tsp sea salt and 1 tbsp olive oil.
Grind it all up until it's fairly smooth.

Put scoops of about 1/4 cup onto the teflex sheets and make THICK pancakes. Make these thicker than you'd think they should be becasue they really thin out as they dehydrate.

Dehydrate about 1.5 hours, then flip them over onto another screen (no teflex this time) and PEEL off the top teflex sheet.

Dehydrate until they are no longer mushy but are still flexible.

These are great with the sunflower seed refried beans and some guacamole.

I put one tortilla down.
Cover it with one slice of tomatoe (they're about the size of a large tomatoe slice)
Add a leaf of lettuce.
Pile on a tsp of "beans" and a tsp of "guacamole"

EAT!
YUMMERS! :D :D :D

The only thing is they tend to stick to your teeth! ::laugh:: But it's worth it!
