if you don't like them I wouldn't eat them (but I may would give them a try in the smoothie. You may like that). For me I can't survive right now without the little grean buggers.

Lay Lay, do you mind my asking what you eat? Did you weigh yourself a lot? I feel GREAT and I'm not even 100%, I plan to do a 30 day challenge after the 4th. I know weight is not the only indicator of health, etc., but it is an issue for me.

Did you just eat what you wanted, as long as it was raw? Did you try to cut back on certain things? Limit yourself?

It looks like you started dropping weight right away, I hear that doesn't always happen. Were you vegetarian before you went raw?

Sorry so many questions...

Ellen

Oh I am so sorry that you do not like Avocados, You know what that means......I can have all of yours. My Sister has a tree in her yard, all I have to do is go pick what ever I need.
Here is a tip for storing the GEMS. You can peel them (cut up, mash them, whatever) but forget the lemon juice to keep the color. Just keep the seeds in which ever way you prepare them and they will retain all of their color.
I just put mine in a Lock n' Lock, refrigerate them and just spoon out what ever I need. Thank You Lord for Avocados.........

When I first tried an avocado, I really really did not like it at all (right when I first went raw) and my body could not digest the fat. Now, I can eat them plain and really like them. So I guess it was a taste acquired with raw for me.
Maybe the same with you? Or have you been raw for a while...?

edit:] oh and you could make that raw chocolate cream pie...or a pudding with them (like the lemon pudding or chocolate/carob or something)

What do I eat? I eat raw, LOL....take a look at the thread "What did you eat today?" I post in there what I eat from day to day as much as I can and that would give you an idea of my diet, but it is constantly changing.

I weigh myself once a month only, just as a motivator. I weigh on the the 24th of each month.

I am soooo glad to hear you are feeling great. You may or may not have some detox when you go 100%. Just embrace it and be thankful for it.

I do not limit myself at all. I just eat 100% raw. If I want 0 bananas I have 0 bananas. If I want 20 I have 20. You will also see in that thread where I post my daily food I do not put quantity. I have as little or as much as I want of whatever. I just listen to what my body needs. I did not try nor do I try to cut back on things.

No not everyone drops weight right away. Some people take weeks or months. It will come though. Last time I was 100% I lost 10 pounds in 3 months and then I dropped another 20 pounds in the next 2 months. It happens differently to everyone.

I was not a vegetarian. Even when I was mid to high raw I was not and I think this held me back alot in the healing process.

Please I love to help feel free to ask.
