View Full Version : Craving vinegar and salty things

Hi guys,

I am shocked by the amount of vinegar I am using at the moment (apple cider vinegar that is).

I just can't seem to get enough of it. Same with salty things - not salt by itself or salt in a salad, but salty flavours like nut butter with salt or seaweed with salt.

I am afraid of getting too much acid and salt, but without just everything tastes bland. I don't use many other spices at the moment, some pepper and herbs, that's it.

Does anybody have an idea what this could be?

you must be needing it for some reason. I would go with it and see what happens.

Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the best things for you. There are all sort of trace minerals in it. You cannot over do it..........I guess the salt is o.k, if you are not salt sensitive.

Thanks for your input!

However, I felt sluggish all morning and now after lunch (salad again but with LITTLE vinegar and almost no salt) I even had a short nap. This is absolutely not me...

It could be the weather yes, but I am afraid it could be all the acid from the acid overdoses the last days.

What do you think?

Well I know if I was having alot of vinegar that is how I would feel, but then again I hate and I mean hate vinegar, LOL.

I used to get tired after eating on SAD. :o When I mentioned this to the owner of our LHS...he suggested I was having trouble digesting what I was eating. ;) So, I think you are on the right track...but it may also be your body's way of fixing something you are unaware of...internally. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few days as you cut back on these things. Please let us know how you are doing! Raw (((HUGS)))
