:) Does anyone have any chocolate recipes that i can make and take with me when i have to go on trips short and long one.
I have told myself not to buy those candy bars or cookies or brownies and so far i'm doing well but they look so good.
I was at the store this morning buying avocodos and other things and a lady behind me had cookies, they looked so so good.
I use carob powder the raw kind.
I hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance.

Ann

You could make Rawpriestess's brownies. I haven't tried them but I have heard they are absolutely delicious. And you could probably make some sort of cookie type thing. Maybe (and I'm totally making things up here) raw sprouted oats or buckwheat or almonds or something with some banana and carob powder and honey or agave and food process it. then dehydrate...or freeze or whatever you'd like and maybe if you like caramel sort of things add a raw halvah recipe or make date paste to spread on top. Or some sort of cashew cream...or whatever you like. I'd say have fun with it, experiment.

I hope this helps!

the problem is when i'm in the car most chocolate sweets don't travel well, they melt in heat.
The brownies i will try, thanks.
A lot of recipes need to be kept frozen or eaten rather quickly after taking them out.
Again thanks, you've been a help.

sorry I wasn't really much of a help lol. I'm sure (I hope!) someone else will come along with some good ideas

I make candy balls alot for traveling, although I use no chocolate in them, they give me that chocolate feel.

Any nut

dates

equal amounts of both

Put in food proccessor

then roll them into little balls

and then roll the balls in dried cocunut or sesame seeds or other desired food.

2 T raw honey
1 T carob (or chocolate or a mix of the two)
3/4 T water

Mix them up, yum.
