So I wrote a few days ago not quite knowing how to proceed at this point. Still trying to work it out.

Here is my situation. Perhaps some might have gone through a similar thing.

Been raw 4 months. Good up until now
latley having allergic symptoms- Hence the claw refernce. Bad excema on one of my hands. I tend to be an "allergic" type. I have had this before mainly as a reaction to soy. Once I had it for unexplained reasons. years ago a friend of mine who was a healer told me I should take some calcium, magneesium and zink remarkabley enough the excema went away in two days and didn't come back for a long long time. So based on this one of the things I have been trying doing(to know effect at this point is to) is to take some mineral supps. I am pretty sensitive at this point to what foods I am allergic to and so I have really eliminated about all I can.

Based on some more recent advice I have started digestive enzymes and probiotics (still to no effect).

Is this a benificial purification??
Is it a food allergy??
Is it a sign of intestinal distress??
A short fast?
Colonic?
Amputation?

You see I am in a quandry and dnot quite sure what to do. I don't mind sticking it out a bit if it will pass in the course of things but if it is a sign of imbalance I don't want to go furhter down that road.

Any help would be appreciated. Would prefer to put my attention on other things!!!

sorry you are going through this,

One thing that I have learned, is that my body does what it does to keep me healthy, and no matter what I do, it still does what it does.

So, I have had some really intense healing crisis' and all I am glad to have gone through, alhtough they were pretty painful or challenging at the time.

I would think that if you have had something similar to this in the past, that this might be a cleansing of past stuff, and just allow it to detox out of your body once and for all.

Sounds like cleansing to me.

Or "retracing," which is a process whereby you cleanse out old illnesses in reverse order of when you got it.

I would just let it pass, and be patient. When I first went raw I detoxed A LOT through my skin, rashes, zits, weird smells, you name it. I am an allergic type as well but my allergies have gotten a lot better.

Hi Hannibalophir,

I like your handle by the way! I too have dealt with eczema. I had it very badly when I was a pre-teen until I was in my early twenties. It was all over my hands, legs, arms and at times would make an appearance on my neck, chest and lips. After my twenties it then limited itself to just my fingers from time to time due to stress or allergic reactions. In my thirties it disappeared only to reappear on my lower arms when I was pregnant and briefly when I was in Africa. I too noticed that in about 3 or 4 months into my Raw Journey patches of ezcema on my hands and the lower portions of my arms. I know that this is detox. It was detox when I was pregnant and also when I was in Africa. When I was pregnant I eat the healthiest vegatarian cooked diet I had ever eaten. My son, in-vitro at the time, had me on a schedule from the moment I knew I was pregnant. Every three hours I had to eat...6,9,12,3,6 etc. This went on throughout the pregnancy. So when he was born that became his schedule because he was use to it. By the way he hardly ever cried as an infant. Back to ezcema...when I was in Africa I was also eating food straight from the ground and organic. Now that I have been completely raw for going on 9 months. My body is ridding me of it once and for all and I am not going to worry about how long it is going to take to do it. Right now I have a small patch on my left hand after having several patches 3 months ago. The areas by my right elbow and up to my wrist are fading more and more in the last few months. I used shea butter when I first noticed it for about two months until I noticed it was getting better. I now use coconut oil on my skin and noticed how that is softening not only my whole body but those ezcema patches too.

Hannibalophir I can only share my experience. My experience prior to raw with ezcema was pretty severe. Based on my other experiences with it I pretty much know that I have to go through it to get to it. I know that my ezcema is clearing up and will clear up to the point where I will never have to deal with it again. All I can say to you is keep doing what you are doing and not to give up. Detox is a process and it is one raw fooders go through in order to cleanse the toxins from the body. Ezcema is caused by various toxins and if you have ezcema and you are eating raw those toxins will come out. In order for them to do so you will be revisited by the symptoms. Sometimes it will be worst before it gets better but you have to know that it will be better.

In the meantime, you will need to find things to do or meditate on that takes your focus away from the ezcema or whatever other detox symptoms you encounter. If not you will become preoccupied and possibly sabotage (sp) all the rawful work your body has done in the last 4 months. I have faith that you won't do that. FOUR MONTHS...YOU ARE DA BOMB!!! CONGRADULATIONS AND KEEP IT UP YOUR BODY WILL THANK YOU!!!
