I bought some sunflower seeds back in May, and the bag somehow got buried in the back of the deli bin of my fridge.
I discovered them today as I was cleaning out the fridge and I'm wondering if they're still good.
Thanks!

I've had some that long in the fridge and they were fine. You could taste them to be sure. The last batch I bought at the health food store was from the bottom of the bin, and they tasted like soap. So I guess if they're rancid, they'll taste soapy.

I've had some in my freezer for a couple of years, and they taste fine.
I'd just taste them, (as has been suggested) and if they taste good, I'd eat em'

I keep my sf seeds in the freezer. I even sprout them from there. It doesn't affect their viability.

They should be fine if you just bought them in May.
