Hi all, I can't believe it I was so thrilled, my daughter announced last night out of the blue that she is going raw for a week to see how things go. I know this isn't a very long period of time but any turn in this direction I think is fantastic I am SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!! :D. Before when I would mention going raw I hit SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! resistance, you know the kind of thing hands over the ears La La La La La. Anyway had to share my excitement with you all. Have a fantastic day.

Yea Karen!!!!!
It's amazing how good someone can feel in just a week. Hopefully she won't get hit with detox right away but get the "good" feeling and will want to continue on this road!!!! Keep us posted!

Hi Helen, Thanks for the reply, I did mention about the detox to her so she is aware which is a good thing. She swims 2 hrs every morning (she's on the High School swim team) anyway last night she said "well Mum what if I am having a detox and really just don't feel well do i still have to swim?" and I just said "don't worry we will just cross that bridge when and if we get to it". I will cerytainly keep you posted. Take Care

Hi Karen,
Good. I'm glad to hear that she understands about detox and won't get frustrated, thinking eating raw doesn't work! I look forward to see how she's doing over the next few days.

Karen, that is GREAT!! I know that made your heart so happy when she said that! Well, here's to her finding it to be a wonderful way of eating and sticking with it beyond a week...even if not TOTALLY, eating more raw will be a huge plus for her and she'll be doing so much better healthwise than most kids her age!
Good for you...both! :)

Hi well I am still going strong with eating raw, 8mths now but my daughter is already struggling and she is only 2 days in I think she thought it would be easy but as we all know it takes time so we will see how things go. She's already had some slip ups because she was sleeping over at her friends house. I'll keep you posted on her progress, I think this will be a work in progress. Thanks to you all for your kind words.
Blessings Karen
