I tried to make a raw salad dressing by combining almond butter, red wine vinagar/ water/ italian seasoning, pepper, and onion, and it's really good, but I'm not sure if red wine vinagar is raw?

Unless the vinegar says it's raw, it's not. Most have been pasteurized. You can usually find apple cider vinegar "raw and unfiltered", but others are less common.

Do you know if you can regualr white vinegar raw? One thing I loved to eat in the past was cucumbers and onions in white vinegar. But i haven't bought any white because I can't tell if it is raw.

Raw apple cider vinegar such as Bragg's is the only raw vinegar and the only vinegar that's really good to consume.

There are lots of sources of good raw Apple Cider Vinegar so there is no need to use any of the other types which are not raw.

Eden makes a red wine vinegar that is raw...after seeing it in the store I emailed them and they assured me that they did not pasteurize their vinegars...they are also very reasonably priced...I get mine in my local health food store. They also have a balsamic type vinegar and an apple cider vinegar. Hope this helps!

Hi denise....just wanted to let you know that white vinegar is not good for you....apparently it dries out your bone marrow....scary......try using unpastuerized apple cider vinegar...it tastes better anyway...vv
