Since after 6 months of all raw(when UI already thought I was strong!), I ventured off for around 2 weeks, during which I tried to stop eating cooked, but alwys ate a little cooked there and there, I think it would be a good thread for everyone, not just me.
Well, now I ma back to 100 percent for a week and from now on I will be less sure and alwys ready.
So my tips:
Do not change too quickly - do go 100 percent, but do not the same time eliminate salt, oil, dehydrated stuff, etc. It does take at least 1.5 year to be very strong.
Read everyting you can get about subject
Read Boutenko's 12 steps to raw foods and reread it periodicly.
Go to raw food potluks
Go to the raw boards
Get a buddy
Don't push your raw food knowledge on people who don't want to listen
Don't put down cooked eating people-it is their chice to live the live the way they want
Make at least several new fun recipes a week, so you would not get bored with your diet as I did.

Really? Maybe I should re-think my decision not to get a dehydrator and start experimenting with some recipes!

Not getting bored is DEFINITELY key -- it's a very important factor in staying raw.
For me, avoiding tempting situations to the best of my ability is another biggie.
Also, never leaving the house without food, and never letting myself run out of food (keeping my house stocked with raw food).
There's lots of others, but these seem to be the most important ones just off the top of my head.
Anything and everything to stay raw -- whatever it takes!
:) :) :)

One last tidbit (i've posted this before) -- but it helped me a lot, esp. in the beginning:
"If you're not hungry enough to eat raw, then you're not really hungry."
I have this on a sticky on my computer.

All of GreeninLosAngeles tips +

1) Make sure optimum health is your main reason to go raw
2) Know that if you need to loose weight you will...in your body's time and not yours.
3) Detox is your friend and not your enemy. So learn to welcome it and have patience until it leaves.
4) Have fun! You have to create that for yourself and no amount of books or reading from raw boards will give that ability to you. Either you already know how to have fun or you have to learn to have fun.
5) Know that your experience is suppose to be different than everyone else. So limit your comparisons and take time out to get to know your own body.
6) Most importantly you have to have a super positive attitude or you will not succeed. One of your main goals should be to relax and embrace your journey.

I like the tip about having a lot of raw food stocked in your house-that;s good one for me, because when I don't have a lot of food, my husban's food, who is SAD eater looks more atractive...
