I have to share this one with you guys. I'm munching away and laughing at the same time.

I love hummus. We went to a friend's cafe the other day. They had fresh homemade hummus which they gave us on fresh pita bread still warm from the oven.

I just had a taste. It was so good. Since then I've been drooling for some hummus. Yesterday as I was packing my lunch in the morning, I decided to put my garbanzos in to soak. I was going to sprout them, but by the time I got home I was just itching for hummus so I made it last night.

The funny part? I decided to use my black sesame seeds to make tahini for the hummus. I also have some back sesame oil. I have heard it's good for grey hair. The taste is fairly the same...

My hummus - although it tastes divine - is sort of blue grey.

Humm......... I think I'd have to close my eyes to eat it! LOL!

That's pretty funny. Why does that seem strange to us, anyway? After all, we do have purple eggplant and blueberries -- but now that I try, I can't think of any grayish veggies or fruit. Is it just me? (maybe cuz it's late!)

This doesn't sound so bad. When I make babba ganoush (eggplant) cooked, it looks similar, a kind of grayish look.
