My new favourite dressing!

I was looking for a new dressing recently, grew tired of Honey Mustard and the odd oil/vinegar thing.

I tried out the creamy cucumber and avo dressing in Alissa's book and wow, I could eat this with a spoon! How delish is that! The best dressing ever!

I cut down a bit on the oil and put some water in instead (too much oil isn't good for me) and it still is really nice and creamy.

One of my new favorites is tahini mixed with some lemon, honey, and water.

I also tried this dressing and took your advice about cutting down on the oil and using water. Oil tends to upset my stomach some. It really was great... I'm even going to make a jar full here in a bit to take over to my in laws for dinner tonight. My kids even loved this.. One of twins is a salad lover... and the other is not.. But my 3 older ones loved dipping pieces of cuccumber in this dressing eating them.

Does this have a cucumber, tahini, dill, and water?

I found a recipe I wrote down labeled "Creamy Cucumber Dressing" and it says 1 cucumber, 1 heaping tbsp tahini, 2 tsp dill, 1/3 C. water.

I made it that way and it was a watery (nowhere near creamy) flavorless mess. I'm wondering if this is the one you're talking about, and I forgot to write down the avocado or something.

Thanks for posting this one!! I have seen it in the book so many times but just never made it.......well, I did this morning....I never eat salad for breakfast but this was so fantastic that's exactly what I did!! Yum!!! My new fav. too~
