If they don't say RAW on the lable, they are probably roasted.

I can buy raw peanuts here, fresh with dirt on the shell - they are soft and reddish (the shell that is). When they are dried and roasted, the shell hardens.

Honestly, raw peanuts... I don't care for them much. Tried them, that's it.

Either one. It should say on the bag. If they are bulk, it should say above them. Raw nuts are what are used to feed squirrels and birds.
