Hello,
Has anyone here had kidney stones? Has eating raw help this
problem or eliminate it? Is is true that juices like OJ worsen the stones?
My husband had kidney stones last year (many people have it in his family).
We were both on a SAD Diet. The doc told us that he shouldnt drink acidic juices like OJ. He had a painfull surgery and it was even more painfull passing them dang stones :eek:
Im hoping that he will starting eating more raw foods on his own if he knows that it will really help him. He is not a health concious person like I am. (I started feeding my dogs raw over a yr ago and he complained that it was more $$ and blah blah ....finally 6 mo later he realized that I was right and it was cheaper! now that I want to eat raw, he just doesnt get it)
