Hi

I was wandering why some recipes call for what in my opinion is a lot of oil. I never used lots of oil in cooking. For example, I found a chili recipe on this site. It turned out very good. It had 2 avocados and 1/4 cup oil. I cut the oil and used only 1 avocado. It just seems to much fat. I used the other avocado to make mayonnaise for wraps. Thanks.

I think that alot of these recepies should be considered as transitional foods and as such need to be made as tasty as possible in order to make raw attractive but it should be everybody's aim to cut down gradually.
