I read a great post about someone's meal containing guacomole, sourcream, and flax crackers or chips....all raw....I was very interested in this meal, however can't find it now. I have it in my mind that it was twinyoga???? Anyone know what I am talking about. I shot in the dark. I am new here and transitioning to 100% raw, letting my body flow in that direction. I am type 2 diabetic, so I have so concerns about sweet fruit. When I eat high raw, I feel so clean and light. After 20 years of struggling with my weight and my health this feels like the answer for me....Thanx to all of you....any suggestions?

It MIGHT be this one http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10383&highlight=nachos Welcome! I don't have any advice, I don't have any experience with type 2 diabetes.

Check out the conection between milk and diabetes there are lots of sites online about this.

The theory is that:
- A protien in milk is similar to pancreatic cells.
- The body attacks the protien with antibodies as a foreign substance.
- Since the pancreatic cells are similar to the protien, they are also attacked and destroyed by the antibodies and
- With a damaged pancreas the body can't handle sugar.

On notmilk.com I read that some kids healed from diabetes after 6 month of no milk and also that the more milk a country consumes the higher it's diabetes rate is.

Of course you won't be eating any milk on raw but maybe you will heal your diabetes and fruit won't be an issue after awhile!
