pure, organic cococa butter is okay to ingest right? the mild chocolate flavor is heaven in a smoothie, and it never says anywhere on the jar "for topical use only"

Was this produced as a beauty product or as a food. If it is a beauty product then there may be some additives or it may have been treated.

There are chemicals they use during normal processing, that are not used in high quality food grade cacao butter... I am not sure how they apply or not to organic. Hexane is the one most commonly used. You could call the company and ask if you're curious.
