Ok, I should have done this yesterday, but I forgot!
My dad does NOT eat raw foods. I'm kind of proud of my accomplishments lol. Every Saturday when we shop he used to get a small pastry, but now I steer the cart away on the other side of the "hall." The next step was that he started looking at labels and not having anything with corn syrup, sugar, ect. Then he started doing his own beans instead of canned baked beans. Ok, where's the raw you ask? It takes him an extremely LONG time to change haha. Long story short and skipping a few alterations he's made, he started having ONE piece of fruit a day at work. Now he's up to 2-4 servings a day! He even bought organic apple juice! For father's day I made him a huge green smoothie and he LOVED it. Drank/ate it all up! It had: 1/2 pineapple, 2 bananas, 1 bag of spinach (12 cups??), strawberries, and blueberries. My mom had 1/2 of it as well. It just made me happy that they drank it and loved it. She said that if I made it more often that they'll have it more. I get that a lot! At my sisters they said if I lived there that they'd all eat a lot more fruits/veggies lol. Ok, I'm getting side tracked. I just wanted to share my excitement. My next goal is to get him to eat salads and or stop drinking milk.
