I am making a pate...and as many of you know I have to track my calories on fitday right now, even though I don't like to because I don't want it to be an addictiony thing. ok to the point, does anyone know how I can find out the nutrition data of just a part of it. say a fourth cup or tablespoon or something like that? I entered the recipe on nutritiondata.com but I have no idea what like percentage of the entire recipe one tablespoon would be. I usually just guess with everything when entering on fitday but I don't even know how I would really guess here. like I can find out how much 100 grams of it is but I don't know how much pate 100 grams is. ahh lol.

any ideas?? thanks :)

Try this favorite of mine - go here:
http://www.ars.usda.gov/Services/docs.htm?docid=7783
and select the "online" version.

Cheers!

thanks eveleaf! Does this do it for entire recipes or just certain foods?

Hmm, this is just for individual foods. If you want to do the entire recipe try www.nutridiary.com
I really like this tool because you can put your entire recipe in there as a "meal", then create a "duplicate" of the recipe that is, for example, 1/10 of the original. The website does all the calculations for you.
