I had another new fruit today! I love visiting a tropical island...although I found out you can get pepinos in the states...I have never seen them though. I also had lychee for the first time also...Thanks to RP for listing them on a thread, sparked my interest.
Pepinos are small golden yellow here but sometimes they can have purple streaks. I did enjoy the flavor, it was kind of like a very light cantolope taste. Has anyone else had these? I did not eat the skin or seeds but I read you can eat the seeds, anyone know about the skin?
The lychees were very good also--kind of expensive but definately a different taste.
