I made some chocolate ice cream and it has a pickle taste to it??
I know its the carbo ;
Is it SUPPOSED to taste like this?
Could it be old? :confused:

hmmmm.... my carob doesn't taste like that.

Hmmm.. pickle ice cream! Maybe the pregnant ones here might appreciate. The idea doesn't sound that yummy to me though! *grin*
You could melt then add in other ingredients (like the base) to reduce the flavour... do you think it can be recovered?

After it sat in the freezer for awhile; it tasted a little better; maybe I just needed to get used to it.

I think it is something you need to get used to.
We only use carob because my son is allergic to chocolate.
