another coconut question

hey guys, i just bought a whole bunch of coconuts...i know what to do with the normal brown coconuts, but i also bought 1 young coconut...now, how do i open it or how do i eat it...it seems very strange textured...anyone have any suggestions...and oh ya, just for a funny tidbit...one of my cats loves cantaloupe...she was eating it with me yesterday...isn't that funny :)

The young coconut, make a hole in the top (any way you wish to do so) and pop a straw in there! Drink it up. Then with a very sharp knife, cut it open. (I have not actually done the cutting myself, someone else did for me.) But the inside can be scraped out of those young coconuts pretty easily with a spoon.
