Anyone new to MA or the Cape??

I posted my upcoming potluck in the event area and I thought I'd put it here for anyone new. I'm having a potluck on the Cape on June 25th at noon. Hope to have time to walk to the beach after tasting everyone's recipes. Join us if you can! You can email me for directions.

Tracy, I'm in MA, but north of Boston, in the beautiful seaside community of Lynn (I'll wait for you to stop laughing...) Wish you were closer - a potluck sounds wonderful. Are there many raw foodies on the Cape?

I am worried I will have nothing to eat as I'm not bringing my dehydrator, blender and all that Jazz. I can always get some salads and fruits but might want to go to a raw restaurant if there are any.

Any ideas would be great.

Hi,

I saw your message about your potluck. If I lived up in Massachusetts I definitely would have come to it. I am originally from Easton, Massachusetts, and my family and I relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, a couple of years ago. We do not miss the cold and frigid New England winters, however, I sure do miss the beautiful fall foliage!

I'm writing to you because my children and I are coming up to the Cape in mid-July for a weeki, we'll be staying in Harwich, and thought maybe we could hook up somewhere. I'm looking to meet other raw fooders as I am transitioning over to raw and it would be great to have other people like me to relate to! I am taking Alissa's five-day certification course this September and am so looking forward to it.
