I have been raw for a few days now but wasn't 100%. Everytime I attempt to diet, I have the tendency to have muscle spasms all over my body. I thought it would be different this time but its not, I am still getting the spasms. I am getting more in my stomach than anywhere. Is there something I am doing wrong or and can do right?

Did you jump directly to 100%? Maybe the change is just too rapid? Thats my best shot really but I hope it gets better for you!

Muscle spasms are usually an indication of a magnesium deficiency, among other alkalizing minerals. Do you have access to a juicer? Drink a lot of greens juice would probably help, though a supplement might be faster. Cacao is also a good magnesium supplement, actually potent enough to reverse a deficiency.

I had a lot of muscle twitches - in one or the other of my eyelids, in my fingers, and sometimes I'd get like an electrical shock from my groin and down my arm to my thumb, like the two were connected. Really weird! They did go away after a few weeks.

You are so right, I do suffer from a magnesium deficiency as well as pottassium. I have an abnormal adrenal gland and am currently taking medication. I don't normally take anything for magnesium until it gets low, so I guess I will be juicing some greens this weekend.

I did go 100% raw but once I began juicing, I realized the difference in the way I felt and decided I didn't need to continue putting toxins from SAD food into my body. I suffer from Fibromyalgia also and want to recover as soon as possible.

Thank you for all you help and concern.

hummm, never heard of this before.

I am sorry you are going through this, sounds like some kind of anxiety to a feeling of deprivation to me.

Without knowing what you are or are not doing it's hard to tell. Could be just not getting enough water or as RP says "anxiety".
You say "Everytime I attempt to diet" which means to me you are thinking of it as something different than just a good food program where you can eat as much as you want whenever you want.

Check this ~ Are you limiting food intake? what's your mindset about what you are eating? What are you eating? How much fruit are you including? Are you eating 4-6 small meals a day?

Before people can really answer this: "Is there something I am doing wrong or and can do right?", give us a clue other than "I have been raw for a few days now but wasn't 100%". What are you the rest of the time?
