I am flying from Thailand to America in June on Singapore airlines and I can order raw vegan meals to be served to me. Ain't that just special?!?!
The website said vegetarian raw - only fruits and vegetables under their special meals section.
I hope I don't get carrot sticks. But a nice salad and lots of fresh fruits. What do yall think?

I think that is marvelous, when I chose to fly, I always call ahead to make srue they understand exactly what I want, I don't say vegetarian, I say only fruits and veggetables, fresh, raw, and ripe.
hope this works, as I'll be flying in Sept to Alissa's class, and they seem to think they can accomodate me. which is marvelous, but I'll be taking my own food, just in case, I always am prepared.

Flying international with fresh fruits and veggies is iffy. Actually I think if I eat them all before I land I'm okay. I just can't bring them into a new country.
But my parents used their mileage to upgrade me to a business class ticket. I better not have to bring my own food.

-Yeah....you should be ok to bring fruits and vegetables on the plane. Just keep them in a separate disposable plastic bag (rather than a carry on / off bag) so the dogs in customs don't have a field day with it! :)
