yea, i'm not able to stay on 100% organic for more then 5 days at a time wtih long periods in between each 'session'. Anyway, I bought a box of grape tomatoes today on my way home and usually they're ok, but this one box they were SOOO waxy they flew out of my fingers a few times. I tried to wipe them off but the shine and slipperiness still remained (not slimy like it was rotting, just slippery and waxy). I continued eating them and apprently my body didn't like it. My throat started closing up (still partially closed) my stomach really huts, and my lips/tounge are tingly and waxy. Joy! What has this world come to lol...stupid pesticides! I'm really glad my body is this sensitive to foods and addatives, but sometimes it gets quite annoying. I just need to listen to it and stick with organic. Anyone else have reactions to the pesticides?

I've had problems with celery. When I lived on Cape Cod (that was a few years ago) there wasn't a lot available in the way of organic produce. I love celery! So I'd buy it even though it wasn't organic. I got some once that had an odd, maple aroma to it. It tasted very bitter and made my tongue go numb. This worried me because I was pregnant at the time. But whatever it was, there was no lasting damage. I threw the celery away and then was sad because I really wanted to eat celery!

Don't worry RP, i know! They just didn't have organic tomatoes where I purchased these, but I also didn't have enough common sense to throw them out lol...
