I have a good recipe that's really easy.

For the cone, blend some bananas in a food processor and dehydrate til it's a fruit roll up consistency (you can add some flax seeds or something as well for more texture and taste. In fact any kind of fruit leather would be great for this.) Once it's ready, cut into portions and roll into a large cone shape and secure the loose part with some water to make it stick together.

For the icecream of course, take a frozen banana and blend it till smooth in the food processor then take an icecream scoop and scoop it into the cone and voila!

Do you know of anything else that would work besides banana? My daughter is allergic to bananas.

Well, any fruit can be pureed and dehydrated for the cone and for the ice cream you could use raw priestess' recipe for walnut ice cream. I imagine that durians would also be perfect if you have access to them.

You can use any fruit for a 'sorbet' - I've used strawberries, blueberries, raspberries - all delicious. Pineapple was the first I ever tried - don't know how it turns out in the food processor, but through a juicer it is pure heaven.

Problem is, we end up eating the pineapple before it even gets frozen!
