EXCELLENT article! It hit a lot of points I try to talk to others around me about that just odn't get it. They all believe I'm not "normal" and my "diet" is stupid...maybe they're just jealous ;)

Nice article but I just don't see why anyone would consider a raw diet to be extreme. Yeah, I know what it said, but most of the people I know would not consider stuff like hot dogs to be healthy food.

Great article! Alissa says a little of the same thing in her book too.
It's sickening how "we" throw more chemicals at diseased people instead of just removing the ones that made them sick in the first place. Like RP says, it's more what you DON'T eat than what you DO eat that keeps us healthy.

Ditto to RawNut for quoting what RP said & for what Rawnut said too!
Thanks for that awesome article scott!

You guys are all great. Thanks for reading the article, I'm very pleased that people have enjoyed it. It puts into words some of the frustrations that we all have being RAW and how we are viewed. I deeply appreciate all of the support that is given to me by all on these forums and I'm glad to return in even a tiny way. We're all in this together.
Thanks you all.

Great article there! I am sure I will NEVER get cravings for a hotdog again!! But then again, with all this beautiful raw food, why would I wish anything else? Thanks for sharing!

I read the part about the hotdog to my dad since he had two this past week (it's a RARE occasion for him though) and the first thing he said "they don't put sodium nitrite (or whatever the chemical was) in them anymore." My mom said "kosher is the best." Hmm ::sigh:: haha.

Nice article, but I kind of think he's preaching to the choir. I think anyone eating non-raw, especally SAD, would be offended unless they were searching for truth and motivation. I'd love to have everyone I know read it, but looking at it from their vantage point, I think it would offend more than help.
But I do agree with his points.

I actually posted this to a private board I have of friends and none of them are raw foodist (although a few are vegan) and they liked the article and said it made them understand my diet better. :)

I get the Health Ranger's email, and a lot of his articles are fabulous. I send them to my buddies who are starting to investigate the benefits of this raw lifestyle.
Thanks for the post!
