Well good news my friends. I am down to 397 lbs. How about that!!! Yippy, I am so happy about this and I will never see 400's ever again. 350 here I come. I am able to do my treadmill for 30 mins a day now too. Next Month I will do it two times a day. Once my legs get use to doing it more. So looks like this summer I will lose alot of them pounds. Thank you all for your support, it really helps me alot. Doug in Calif........ :) :D

I knew if I came back here I would get the Support that helps me so much.
It is very hard being home most of the time. My wife works over time alot so just see her on her days off. I am going to keep that this till I get to my goal weight too. I will tell you what is working for me is eating more. 6 times a day every 3 hours It reps up your system so it has to burn more up. Soon I will have my fresh tomatoes out of my gardens and many more veggies and fruits too. I eat alot of berries too. The trick to the whole thing is eating low on the Glycemic Index. Foods that won't spike your bloodsugar. If you eat high on it your body relesses Insilin and that stores it as fat. I just don't eat anything that is prossesed. No boxes, no Cans, Nothing only fresh foods. Now that I can get on the treadmill again I will lose even more. I have to get my bloodsugar back to normal. I am borderling diabetec. Walking really brings the bloodsugar level down alot. Anyway thank you all so much and I will keep posting when I lose more weight, and I will too. When I get to 350 I will put up a new Picture too. bye for now Doug in Calif..... :D

Hi Doug-less,
I'm so proud of you and excited for you! I bet you feel like you're walking on air! I know your next goal is 350, but I know I'm going to be ecstatic when I see you reach 375!!!! I'm also looking forward to seeing the improvement on your treadmill. Just think in a month or two when you look at what you're able to do then and then look back to the first time you got on your treadmill, you'll be amazed!!!!
Keep up the great work, determination and keep us posted on how you're doing!!!!

Just had a great meal, a nice bowl of Raspberries. Yummy! Now that is a good way to start the day. When I get down to 380, I will be able to put on the steatbelt in our Car. Now that will be big. OH when I wnet shopping for all my good stuff. Just before the bathroom there was a spot I had to get through and always use to rub as I went through. But this last time I made it through without even Touching. How about that! Good things are coming true for me. Now talking about things people take for granted. Now I can wipe up after a bathroom visit. Without having to shower off. So Now I have so much more freedom. Now I can go out and not have to worry If I have to go to the bathroom. Not a problem anymore. Thank you all so much for the support, It really makes me happy to see comments from caring people like you all. Thank so much Doug in Calif....... :D

Hi Douglas,
Isn't it amazing what just a few pound lost can do for ones life? So happy to hear the progress you are making and all the wonderful changes in your life it's making. I hope you continue to share with us what you're able to do as you continue to lose; I'm sure it will inspire others to want the same things. I know I got excited when I could cross my legs and not have them slide off of the other leg. Such little things that make us feel soooooo gooooood!!!!!
