I've never felt this way before & cannot really explain WHY this makes me feel so wonderful, but I was exposed to a combination last week.

Coconut & roses. The scent is AMAZING. WHy do I get so emotional about this?? You guys/girls should try it. I think in whatever form you prefer, as long as it's raw. But Coconut & Roses are out of this world!!!

I've never seen this made together before. Try it & share what you think!!

you've never heard of injesting flowers?

When I was cooked vegan, I drank rose petal tea every single day!!

There's lot of flowers that are edible!

So, how are you so enjoying the coconut and roses?

I don't mean how much.....

I mean, in what manner are you preparing them??? Please do share for those of us less initiated in this arena.....

i have always loved coconut, and on an early morning walk through a still sleeping summer town on the coast of maine, smelling lilacs, it came to me what my new scent should be- you know the ongoing search we all have for the ever elusive perfect scent that people remember us by and that lingers when we leave the room or when someone leans in close?-

a base of coconut with a few drops of blue lilac essential oil. . . and oh it's so heavenly!!! many women i know have fallen in love with it as well and i think soon there's going to be a lot of us coconut & lilac smelling people, but the wonderful thing about fragrance is- it smells different on each individual because of our body chemistry!
so the lilacs have now gone by but the smell on my neck makes me smile and drift into a june morning effortlessly. . ..

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

sounds wonderful

I especially love honeysuckle, we just planted two huge plants at the bottom of our new pegola, and they are intoxicating,

we have several lilac bushes, and when they bloom, all I can do, is to stand by them, they are heavenly.

I do love roses, but we live on a lake, and the air is always very wet, so they mold easily, we only have one small rose plant now, it is lovely.

we hae rhodies and dahlias but they have no scent or not much that we can tell.

irises also, not much scent.

but I love roses, carnations, honeysuckle, lilacs lilies, jasmin, hiacynth, mmmmmmmm
I love natural fragrance, I used to collect really good perfumes, just to smell and own, but now I can't stand the cheaper ones, as they are all full of chemicals, but the more expensive ones, I can tell are from real flowers.

Oh soooo yummy.

I LOVE the idea of coconut and roses! Is rosewater raw? You could make a really wonderful cheesecake with young coconut in it and a flavouring of rosewater, and you could top it with fresh, heavily-scented rose petals! I'd do it, except I'm really avoiding nuts and sweet things at the moment, to get my weight-loss going (and it's working at last).

You could also make a fragrant ice cream using coconut and rosewater...

Mmmm, lovely combination, ljannise...

I had heard of rose petal tea or rose hip tea, but somehow I never imagined eating rose petals in a salad or something. That's sort of strange that I hadn't thought of that because I have a real 'thing' for flowers, specifically roses. I can spend HOURS just going through pictures of roses online and making a file of the ones I want one day when I live in a place with a big garden. I DID just buy two climbing roses last month to climb up our bare front brick wall. It may sound strange, but I actually get a HIGH from even looking at a picture of a rose. Anyone else get that?

Ok since we're talking about roses, look at this pic of a rose called "Golden Princess".... I love when roses are multi-coloured!
