The ones you get in stores are not raw. Most of the ones in health food stores are not raw. But Alissa sells some raw olives that are fantastic! There are other sources but hers are the best I have tried. Her black olives are my favorite and her green olives stuffed with jalapeno are great if you like hot food like I do.


No, it is not a stupid question. When you are starting out, the only way you will learn is to ask questions and there are lots of people here that love to help you.

http://www.rawfood.com has some great raw olives that are in a jar and preserved with a little salt. They are really good. I haven't tried Alissa's yet but they look good too! In general, regular stores don't carry raw olives.
