I was searching the comics as I always do every Saturday and I came across a funny one of Cathy's. They're at a restaurant and the first picture is a HUGE trough of greens. Then the conversation goes like this:
Kathy - We're just going to have a salad
Friend - yes
Waitress - Fine, would you like to hear about the specials?
The chinese chicken salad hasthe fat equivalent of a bacon cheeseburger. The grilled mahi-mahi salad has a thrid of the calories you should eat all day in the dollop of manog dressing.
The tuna salad, if spread on bread, would make four sandwiches.
The chopped salad contains 5oz of mea, 4oz of cheese, 2 whole eggs, 2 strips of bacon, an entire avocado, and half a baguette fried and crumbled into mini crutons!
Kathy - we'll just have the dessert
Waitress - good thinking. Might as well enjoy yourselves.
I thought it was funny at least!
