I read in a book that parsley is the highest in chlorophyll so i was thinking this may help with BO smells when (juice) fasting and detox. But it also says parsley stimulates the digestive system... Would this have any negative effect on the fasting state?

and does anyone have a differecne in opinion of parsley being the highest in chlorophyll?

Im going on vacation where I will be on the beach or ina boat in the sun all day. I will be fasting or possibly just coming off one. My concern is my BO smell. Its soooo weird and sometimes strong. I use ACV following with baking soda now. It works better than deoderant ever did for me but sometimes its still not good enough. Is there anything that works better? Has anyone compared these to using grape(fruit?) seed extract? This is why I was thinking if I drank juice with lots of chlorophyll it may help also. what do you all think.

I was wondering what the deal with parsly was too. I just bought a book with juice recipes (over 100) and I think over half have a "handful of parsly" in them. I don't like eating it on salad so I'm a little weary of juicing it. I'd like others review of it lol.

it actually adds a yummy flavor to smoothies and such. i lived in mexico for a while and its very popular there, moslty because of the "jugo verde" that's served in almost all traditional towns (no tourist places).

jugo verde:

fresh squeezed OJ
1 piece of pineapple
1 sprig of parsley
1 celery
1 cactus pad

yum yum

It should be fine to drink parsley juice while fasting I would think. I drink it on my fasts. Anything green should help with BO. Wheatgrass juice and E3Live (blue green algae) and chlorella are all really great sources of chlorophyll.
