can you use it as a food processor too or should a separate one be bought? which is best to do? Thanks for sharing! Rachel

We use both our juicer and our food processor every day. I think both are valuable tool to have. You can't do everything in the juicer that you can in a processor.

As far as I know (I own a champion), besides making juice, I can make nut butters (which I do often) and sherbert (which I have not tried yet), but for any other processing one needs a regular food processor. I have a cuisinart which I am happy with.
