HI, Carlene,
Your success is SO inspiring, I'm glad you posted here.
I was just reading about your boot camp early this week. I'm seriously thinking of the ultimate camp for my needs, I've struggled to get and stay on a healthy plan.
I'm concerned about food cravings and fat content, so I was thinking of the ultimate camp for accountability and support. I have a question I thought about emailing via your site, but then I thought maybe others here might have similar questions as well. For me, I believe I could commit to the requirements of the program, but I'm totally confused when I try to sort out the issue of glycemic index. Do you give lists of approved foods? I just can't make sense of the charts.
When I've tried raw, the kinds of things I have used have included orange, apple, banana, grapes, mangos, papaya, watermelon, cucmbers, greens of all types, sometimes in salads, sometimes in smoothies, and veggies such as zuchini, tomato, red bell peppers, okra, brocolli and cauliflour and greens in salads.
Would those things fit in your requirements?
I am an emotional eater, and it's usually some emotional flair that pulls me back to certain non-raw items, and right now, I have huge and muliple family transitions going on. I keep thinking it will settle down, but as soon as it seems to in one area, it flairs in another, and I'm tired of saying to my self that when "x" happens, THEN I'll be able to focus on my needs.
Yours,
Deborah
