I posted everything in the 30 day challenge. I was eating so badly trying to ease my way into raw that I thought what the heck, I'll take Alissa's advice and dive right in. Let detox do what it must. I'm on my waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay :)

Were here with ya! You can do it!

Melissa :D

PS: What has REALLY been helping me, is having a large smoothie for breakfast-like 2 apples, 1 banana, 1 orange, and some ice all blended up- It has turned me around girl! I am not big on fruit, so this way I can have lots of them without it seeming like a lot- but it is so filling! I have much more energy throughout the day- and I don't really get hungry until around 2 or 3! Just thought I would share- it might help you too :D Good luck!

You can do it!

I would like to say ditto to Melissa, having fruit in the morning really helps me too. A smoothie, or several pieces of fruit is the best breakfast I can have. Today I made "gelato" by using my food processer and grinding a few cashews with frozen berries, and tossing in a ripe banana at the last...it made two cups of delicious pudding, which I ate during my first hour of work...Purple puddin'!

Cassy. :) :)

I appreciate it so much. I feel alright so far today, still no sign of a headache. Maybe it's cuz' I'm still eating lots of sweet stuff. (fruit, Alissa's pecan pie...) A little muscle tension but I get that anyway when I spend too much time on the computer. :p

Good luck! I hope the results are so dramatic that you're encouraged and inspired to keep at it!

Congrats to you! I love your quote by the way. Have you read the book of the same title? Good SCHTUFF! Ortberg is a pastor near me. Wonderful fellow. I volunteered at a conference with him where WOW (walk on water) was the theme.

HUGS to you!! I may just follow your lead and jump into smoothies for breakfast. I'm usually too busy just trying to wake up.

Hello There,

(((((((HUGS))))), Walking on Water, you are going to be fine! Nothing beats a fail but a try and if you remember that, you will be fine. You sound like you need to love yourself up pretty good, so take a moment and wrap your arms around yourself - now squeeze, you got it girl :) , now all is well - remember to be special to yourself.

Blessings!

I am so glad to hear that you have started your Raw diet. Good luck and I will make a point to stop by and read your journal.
