Just wanted to share this yummy ice cream recipe with you all:

Banana Raisin Coconut Spice Cream

4 cups Bananas, frozen, sliced
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 Cup Coconut, shredded, frozen, unsweetened
1 tsp. Cinnamon, ground
1 tsp. Allspice, ground
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg, ground
1/4 tsp. Cloves, ground

Place the all ingredients in your Vita-Mix. Cover and run at the highest speed until the bananas and other ingredients become creamy smooth (about one minute). Scoop the ice cream into individual serving bowls. Enjoy! ;)

Do you think this recipe would be more like pudding instead of ice cream if I used fresh bananas instead of frozen? I thought I might give this a try since I don't like eating cold food (it makes me cold and hurts my teeth).

Oh my goodness!! That sounds so incredible! One of my favorite ice creams is Rum Raisen, and although I haven't had it in ages, I believe this particular combo would capture the decadence that I so loved in the other..... What creativity!!!

Woo hoo!!

Ohhh wow. I just made this and it was AMAZING! I actually had to substitute a lot of stuff(2 tbsp honey and three dates instead of raisins, only 2 1/4 C banana and 1/4 C pecans, 1/4 C almonds just because), but still. Wonderful. I had a reaaally hard time saving some for my mom. ;)
