I'm just wondering a few things. I'm sure I know the answers, but I guess it's reassurance I'm looking for, who knows :p

I'm trying to tone up and drop a size or two in pants. If you read the exercise post I've been walking 4+ miles a day and biking 4-8 a day on stationary bikes. My legs aregetting much stronger, but because of muscle memory I bulk up easily. I know cardio is importanat for weight loss, but are there any that won't have as much of an impact on my thighs? I want them to get smaller and toned, not larger. Maybe it'll come in time? It's just kind of discouraging, but I won't stop and give up. I'm also doing an hour of weights every other day.

Maybe it's because I'm raw, but I'm not getting sore at all and I love the feeling of being sore - it makes me feel like i've done something productive. I'm doing 3 sets of 10 reps per exercise with 30 seconds between sets. I don't seem to be able to up the weights (for arms it goes from 8 to 12, nothing between). I don't feel like I'm getting much impact in it, though my arms are harder when I don't flex.

Are there any exercises to sculpt your back/shoulders? I really like that look on women lol.

One last thing. Is it a reasonable goal to say I want to do 20 pull ups and 50 push ups by december? I used to be able to and with consistantly doing my exercises I think I can get there again.

Oh, sorry this is so random! I've been doing a bodyflow class (yoga, tae chi, pilates combo class) daily except once a week. I hope that'll help some. It's funny because I'm TOO flexible for some of the moves.
