I just made the best chocolaty treatsÂ….I didnÂ’t measure anything so these are all approximate amounts.
1 large handful brazil nuts
2 scoops raw cacao nibs
dab coconut butter
dab honey
couple drops vanilla
Grind all the ingredients up in a processor until it becomes a moist thick batter.
Form into balls and refrigerate (if they get that far).

Yummy - these sound good. Will give them a try when I lay my hands on some raw cacoa nibs. I have raw carob powder and I'm sure that would work as well!!
Thanks for posting this.

I have made many versions of this type of quick treat with different types of nuts..sunflower seeds added, cacoa powder, etc.
Unfortunately, I don't always soak the nuts. Its something I know I should do but I'm never quite sure when these cravings for something sweet is going to come up. I've soaked almonds in the past and ended up throwing them away because they went bad before I needed them and almonds are way to expensive to throw away.

Brazil nuts don't have to be soaked. From a Brazilian herself. ;)

THis used to happen to me too. But now, I just prepare the nuts by soaking & dehydrating them. That way, they'll keep for a long time so that when I feel like making use of them, they are ready. So, if you have a dehydrator, this may help. :)

I made these again over the weekend and at first was disappointed because the mixture turned out grainy and crumbly, not like raw brownie batter like before...Then I thought...oh no, I posted this recipe too
I added more coconut butter and cacao and it was just like before. So if this recipe doesn't turn out just add more cacao and keep adding more coconut butter until it turns into a thick batter.
