Ok...today I had the worst cravings. My husband was home and he wanted to go out for lunch. I didn't think I was going to make it. :o But he offered to let me chose the restaurant. I picked a lovely little place that has a veggie cold plate. I purposely stayed away from my fav place in town because they are also a bakery. The thought of eating a salad across from the pastry counter...was a bit much. So: 1st...I was proud that I didn't give in and pick a bad restaurant; and 2nd...I chose a lovely veggie plate for lunch. I totally stuck it out raw...in the face of cravings! :D Didn't know I had it in me. And her is what I learned:
To beat my cooked food cravings...I have to eat something raw right then and there. It's not easy to crave something when you are full! And make sure it is something really tasty! It worked! I loved every bite...and I didn't have to feel guilty afterwards. ;) The next time you are having cooked food cravings...make yourself something raw and yummy quick. Eat it first and then see how you feel. This might work for you too! (Also, the waitress asked if I wanted her to wait until his meal came out...a well done hamburger...and I said...nope...bring it right out! :p ) Don't wait until it's too late. Eat raw and then move past your cravings! Raw is a total cravings buster!!!! ;)
