OKOKOK, I want to get my kids acclimated to eating more raw foods and I need visuals! Is there such a thing as a "raw food" food pyramid? My 2 younger kids will do well if they have a chart to check/color....and I'll feel better if I can somehow track their nutrition???? I have looked online but only can find USDA food pyramids and such....even the vegan ones have soy, etc... I plan on having them increase their raw consumption this summer once school is out and need a little help getting organized. I have 5 children between 9 and 19.............HELP!!!

Yes there's the Raw Food Pearamid here if you scroll down the page:

Although depending on the type of diet you are following, the large amount of food consumed would be different - this one concentrates on more fruit than fat.

Great question Diantha...I've wondered about that. Thanks for posting that Sharon. If anyone else knows of any others please post; I'd love to compare and research them.

I tried to copy and enlarge this without luck...I'm such a frugal person....guess I gotta break down and buy it! :rolleyes:

You can actually make one of your own:

draw a pyramid and

bottom: 80 % Carbohydrates; from fruits and vegetables/greens
middle; 10 % Proteins; nuts grains seeds
top; 10 % Fats; oils/fats/avocado

We have a perfect chart;

here I found this; http://food4livecells.com/hdiet-pyramid.htm
