I absolutely and positively hate to take meds of any kind and I am wondering is there a way to get amino acids into my system to simulate the pituitary glands? I'd like to do this without buying something over the counter. My reasons is that I am a diabetic and I am having a hard time losing weight even on raw, in fact since going raw I had gained additional pounds. Please help

THANKS IN ADVANCE ;)

Have you been diagnosed medically with historical info considered, family history in particular?
The pituitary is the master gland of the endocrine system which is responsible for delivering about 50 hormones to the body. The pituitary takes it's cues from receptors within you that may not be working correctly or non-functional altogether.
Self prescribing amino acids is a dubious exercise, though understandable.
Have you considered fasting? It's an unparalleled way to reset everything in those areas that have become adapted to an unhealthy way of life. Then after that kind of rest and recuperation and corrective adjustments to your hormonal receptors, normal functioning may be restored. That is one's hope anyway.
All the best.

I just wanted to add that in your diabetic condition (either type 1 or 2) a fast needs to have professionally trained supervision and guidance for success. I can recommend some qualified practioners, even for just answering questions over the phone.

Cornvalley,

Thanks for your response.

No I haven't been diagnosed with pituitary gland problems.

I'm just trying to check everything that could be contributing to my current health issues.

My overall health is deteriorating even on raw? I've been raw for 2 months and it's not helping, instead of losing weight I've gained 15 lbs. my overall energy level is extremely low concentration is little to none, my blood sugar is in the 215 + range and I'm sitting here with questions but no answers my healthcare professional team is lousy they're prescription for everything is give me more medication.

Please feel free to recommendate a qualified professional. I'm live in California.

California...great.

Alan Goldhammer and his staff have worked with thousands of people with health recovery. It may not be for you, or you may find that it is the only sane way to proceed. You get to decide and it's nice to have options.
Their new center is slated to open in 2007 which will be a much larger facility. But first off, call and relate your info... hopefully they can address your concerns and recommend a further course of action that can be realized by you.

In Hygiene we say all healing is self healing...we just need to supply the correct environment (internal and external) for that to occur. It takes time.
Hopefully they can help you, if only to answer your questions .
All the best.

As Cornvalley says, health comes only from healthful living. A supplement can't give you health. Going raw in almost any form is superior over the standard American diet but there are things you need to know so that you can do it right, get the maximum benefits and not misinterpret the HEALING signals you'll be getting from your body as signs of deterioration. I've helped lots of people do this, and I can help you. I give consultations via phone and email. Please see my website for more info, or write to me directly. Best of luck to you!
