Hi!
What is this? I remember reading about it in the journal in Alissa's book and I wondered then what it was.
Could someone post a recipe for this?
Thanks!

I don't know about Alissa recipe, but when I go out to my local mexican resteraunt I order pico de galo to go on my salad and with my avocado and lime.
It is:
Tomatoes
onions
jalepenos
cilantro
diced and mixed and thats it.

Tomatoes, onions, jalepenos, and cilantro is what I use too. It taste great with a little lime and avocado over a bed of lettuce. I also like to add a little sea salt.

As a Southerner, it's hard to imagine someone not knowing what pico is... lol :D
I'm sure there are dishes in Maine that many Southerners haven't heard of too, though. Maybe not me, because I have a lot of family on the east coast.
