San Antonio travels-need advice

Hubby and I will be in San Antonio from June 30th thru July 4th for vacation. I need any raw info available. That is, are there any raw potlucks, events at that time? Any restaurant suggestions? I know that there is a Whole Foods, but can't very well hang out there everyday and eat all my meals :) so, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
