raw Maui

I am going on vacation in Maui. Does anyone have any suggestions on any good raw food there. Or anything else that is fun:)

I'd think you could find all kinds of tropical fruits in season--pineapples, especially!

There's a nice little restaurant in Kihei on Maui called Joy's Place. The menu is all or nearly all vegetarian with a number of vegan and raw food options. They have a tasty "rawwich" -- a sandwich on dehydrated crackers with pesto and carrot pates, lots of great veggies. You can also order a weekly raw take home meal. A small place with friendly folks!

They do juices including Smoothies as well as full on meals. Paia is a center for alternative culture people and the restaraunt is pulling many of them out of the woodwork and into town.
