Please share photo's and recipes of your favorite raw ice creams. I can use all the help I can get with my ice cream weakness. Anyone have a chocolate ice cream recipe?

Wow! Thank you so much!
I really need to get myself a food processor so I can make those ice cream sandwiches and all the other yummy things I keep seeing on this board and drooling over.

Tried this last night when I was seriously needing a sugar/ chocolate fix...
take-off on banana ice cream
frozen bananas (1 1/2)
tsp organic vanilla extract
1/2 ounce raw cacao nibs (I ground these for a few seconds to break them up a bit)
tsp agave nectar
process all of this ...
It tastes like banana/vanilla chocolate chip ice cream. SO GOOD!

So I can use my cuisinart after I mix all of this together and it will make raw ice cream? Should the cashews be soaked and if so, for how long?
How long sh/ it be blended in the ice cream maker?

I have found that keeping my food in its simplest form and using the K.I.S. method works best for my digestive tract. For ice cream I freeze a couple of bananas and my fruit 'flavor' of choice (cherries, mangoes, etc.) for a couple of hours. I then toss the bananas and 'flavor' into the blender, add just enough water to make it whirl and I have no fat, no refined sugar, no processed anything (spices, etc.) in my "ice cream." I made the banana/cherry 'ice cream' for a family reunion last summer and it was a hit. Bananas and cherries. K.I.S.!

Okay this is from the top of my head I made a year ago or more..........
Frozen bananas
Soaked cashews
Lemon juice of one lemon
Raw honey
Strawberries
All blended to desire texture. It came out creamy and strawberry like. Like strawberries and cream.

This is so easy and so good. I've been eating it everyday.
1) I cut up and freeze 2 ripe bananas in the morning.
2) In the evening, when I am ready for dessert, I place bananas in my VitaMix (a blender or food processor will work too).
3) I turn it on on the lowest setting so the bananas tumble around.
4) I gradually increase the speed, but not too much. In less than a minute, the bananas whip into a delicious frozen cream that looks and tastes like banana soft-serve.
5) I spoon it into a bowl, and top it with about 3-4 coarsely chopped almonds.
Heaven! :p
