After my first pregnancy (which I did not carry to term) I gained more then 50 pounds and likewise was depressing. My husband and I are now trying again and I am confident that a high raw pregnancy is the way to go. I have read countless testomonials on the good effects with no negative results. I know how my body works now and I am confident that many of the issues that happened with my other pregnanies will not happen this next time. So maybe we will be raw moms to be together soon! Keep us posted on your pregnancy raw or not.

I highly suggest reading Jinjee's pregnancy e-book, it is very inspiring. www.thegardendiet.com

Just a suggestion FWIW: try to eat as much fruit, veggies and salads as possible. And drastically reduce or avoid cooked grains and animal products which will slow down digestion, and cause unnecessary weight gain.

Also try the search function above for pregnancy, there are lots of discussions here.

i have to agree with Sharon - eat as much fruits and veggies as you can or are hungry for anyway ;)

i had high raw pregnancies with my 2 kids and they both went superbly! the births were good and kids healthy :) i hope to do my next one all raw whenever that is (have been 100% raw now for 67 days) i only gained around 20 to 23 pounds with each of those pregnancies.

i would think it would be ok for you to walk. have you been doing anything prior? i exercised through both of my pregnancie up until the day before giving birth! but i had been working out before hand also.

HTH!

Ariella!! What a joy to read of all your success!!! I am 100 days raw and 6 weeks pregnant. I am praying that all goes well throughtout wsp. to get to the 12 week!!

Ladylara...my heart goes out to you--i know the food and fear and weight issues VERY well. I agree maybe fruits and veggies and maybe GREEN SMOOTHIES--they seem to fill me up and not bloat me. Sometimes for extra protein i add an ounce of soaked almonds or seeds too.

Hugs to you!!
